The purpose of the K-Method is to negotiate and manage a complex portfolio of customised materials all belonging to the same purchasing group (e.g. labels). The underlying idea is to agree on prices for specification features, instead of giving each material an individual price based on its unique specifications. By doing so, a price formula is agreed to between the buyer and the supplier which can even define the prices of future materials with any kind of specification Nota de contenido: Preface -- Acknowledgements -- Introduction to the Book -- Definitions and typical issues -- The K-Method, example of a price formula -- Solutions for big issues using the K-Method -- Reasonig for the introduction of the K-Method -- The K-Method and other industries -- Outlook on advanced technologies -- Specific issues when designing a price formula -- Implementation in the ERP system -- Specification features of selected categories -- Value analysis -- Step prices -- Consistent prices -- Deduction of the price formula En línea: http://dx.doi.org/10.1007/978-3-662-48244-5 Link: https://biblioteca.cunef.edu/gestion/catalogo/index.php?lvl=notice_display&id=41201 Complexity Management with the K-Method : Price Structures, IT and Controlling for Procurement of Packaging Materials [documento electrónico] / Kossmann, Daniel ; Kossmann, Donald ; SpringerLink (Online service) . - Berlin, Heidelberg : Springer Berlin Heidelberg : Imprint: Springer, 2016 . - XV, 107 p. 11 illus., 5 illus. in color : online resource.

Título : Public Procurement, Innovation and Policy : International Perspectives Tipo de documento: documento electrónico Autores: SpringerLink (Online service) ; Lember, Veiko ; Kattel, Rainer ; Kalvet, Tarmo Editorial: Berlin, Heidelberg : Springer Berlin Heidelberg Fecha de publicación: 2014 Otro editor: Imprint: Springer Número de páginas: VIII, 309 p. 13 illus., 2 illus. in color Il.: online resource ISBN/ISSN/DL: 978-3-642-40258-6 Idioma : Inglés (eng) Palabras clave: Business Management Industrial management procurement Political economy Economic policy Public administration and Innovation/Technology Policy R & D/Technology Procurement Administration Economy Clasificación: 658 Empresas. Organización de empresas Resumen: This book maps the latest developments in public procurement of innovation policy in various contexts and analyzes the evolution and development of the various policy solutions in broader institutional contexts. In doing so, it addresses significant theoretical and practical gaps: On the one hand, there is an emerging interest in public procurement as a policy tool for spurring innovation; yet on the other hand, the current theory, with some notable exceptions, is guided and often constrained by historical applications, above all in the defence industries. By carefully examining the cases of eleven countries, the book points to the existence of much more nuanced public procurement on the innovation policy landscape than has been acknowledged in the academic and policy debates to date Nota de contenido: Foreword -- 1 Introduction -- 2 Public Procurement and Innovation: Theory and Practice -- 3 Australia -- 4 Brazil.- 5 China.- 6 Denmark -- 7 Estonia -- 8 Greece -- 9 Hong Kong -- 10 Korea. -- 11 Sweden.- 12 United Kingdom -- 13 United States of America -- 14 Public Procurement, Innovation and Policy: Comparative Perspectives. Título : The Co-Creation Edge : Harnessing Big Data to Transform Sales and Procurement for Business Innovation Tipo de documento: documento electrónico Autores: Gouillart, Francis ; Quancard, Bernard ; SpringerLink (Online service) Editorial: New York : Palgrave Macmillan US Fecha de publicación: 2016 Otro editor: Imprint: Palgrave Macmillan Número de páginas: VII, 186 p. 10 illus., 9 illus. in color Il.: online resource ISBN/ISSN/DL: 978-1-137-52677-9 Idioma : Inglés (eng) Palabras clave: Business logistics Industrial procurement and Management Procurement Supply Chain Clasificación: 658.5 Gestión de la producción Resumen: Rapid changes in business along with better informed customers threaten the traditional sales and procurement process. Thousands of sales and procurement people are threatened with extinction, yet all is not destined to be doom and gloom. A new way of partnering between these two roles can, in fact, create significant value for both organizations. Sales and procurement professionals have a bright future ahead of them if they can respond to six trends that the authors have identified in the business-to-business world. Each trend offers an opportunity to develop a new skill for sales and procurement professionals and adopt a new practice. Because these practices are not yet widely adopted as "best practices", the authors coin them "next practices." These trends include: working together to solve complex problems; organizing problem-solving networks across company boundaries; creating processes for live cross-company engagement; facilitating data driven, cross-company interactions fed by digital platforms; providing new personal experiences for individuals and lastly (and most importantly) creating new sources of value for firms. If these trends are adopted by organizations, the ability to co-create means providing significant value to both the sales management team at the supplier and the purchasing management team at the customer. With the alternative being that these job functions will be replaced by web-based or channel-based alternatives that will do most of what they do today at a fraction of the cost. Increasingly, there is no middle ground anymore. SAMs and senior buyers will either evolve into high value-added sales and procurement professionals, or disappear.
