Título : An Introduction to Socio-Finance Tipo de documento: documento electrónico Autores: Jørgen Vitting Andersen ; SpringerLink (Online service) ; Andrzej S. Nowak Editorial: Berlin, Heidelberg : Springer Berlin Heidelberg Fecha de publicación: 2013 Otro editor: Imprint: Springer Número de páginas: XIII, 185 p. 44 illus., 9 illus. in color Il.: online resource ISBN/ISSN/DL: 978-3-642-41944-7 Idioma : Inglés (eng) Palabras clave: Economics, Mathematical Sociophysics Econophysics Macroeconomics Economics Macroeconomics/Monetary Economics//Financial Socio- and Econophysics, Population Evolutionary Models Quantitative Finance Clasificación: 658 Empresas. Organización de empresas Resumen: This introductory text is devoted to exposing the underlying nature of price formation in financial markets as a predominantly sociological phenomenon that relates individual decision-making to emergent and co-evolving social and financial structures. Two different levels of this sociological influence are considered: First, we examine how price formation results from the social dynamics of interacting individuals, where interaction occurs either through the price or by direct communication. Then the same processes are revisited and examined at the level of larger groups of individuals. In this book, models of both levels of socio-finance are presented, and it is shown, in particular, how complexity theory provides the conceptual and methodological tools needed to understand and describe such phenomena. Accordingly, readers are first given a broad introduction to the standard economic theory of rational financial markets and will come to understand its shortcomings with the help of concrete examples. Complexity theory is then introduced in order to properly account for behavioral decision-making and match the observed market dynamics. This book is conceived as a primer for newcomers to the field, as well as for practitioners seeking new insights into the field of complexity science applied to socio-economic systems in general, and financial markets and price formation in particular Nota de contenido: The Traditional Approach to Finance -- Behavioral Finance -- Financial Markets as Interacting Individuals: Price Formation From Models of Complexity -- A Psychological Galilean Principle for Price Movements: Fundamental Framework for Technical Analysis -- Catching Animal Spirits: Using Complexity Theory to Detect Speculative Moments of the Markets -- Social Framing Creating Bull Markets of the Past: Growth Theory of Financial Markets -- Complexity Theory and Systemic Risk in the World`s Financial Markets -- Comunication and the Stock Market -- References -- Index En línea: http://dx.doi.org/10.1007/978-3-642-41944-7 Link: https://biblioteca.cunef.edu/gestion/catalogo/index.php?lvl=notice_display&id=36635 An Introduction to Socio-Finance [documento electrónico] / Jørgen Vitting Andersen ; SpringerLink (Online service) ; Andrzej S. Organización de empresas Resumen: In this book, leading experts discuss innovative components of complexity theory and chaos theory in economics. The underlying perspective is that investigations of economic phenomena should view these phenomena not as deterministic, predictable, and mechanistic but rather as process dependent, organic, and always evolving. The aim is to highlight the exciting potential of this approach in economics and its ability to overcome the limitations of past research and offer important new insights. The book offers a stimulating mix of theory, examples, and policy. By casting light on a variety of topics in the field, it will provide an ideal platform for researchers wishing to deepen their understanding and identify areas for further investigation Nota de contenido: Introduction -- Applications of Methods and Algorithms of Nonlinear Dynamics in Economics and Finance. Abdol S. Soofi and Andreas Galka -- Kaldorian assumptions and endogenous fluctuations in the dynamic fixed-price IS-LM model. Giovanni Bella, Paolo Mattana, Beatrice Venturi -- Determining the relationship between Co-Creation and Innovation by Neural Network. Giacomo di Tollo, Stoyan Tanev, Kassis Mohamed Slim and Davide De March -- On the fractal characterization of a system for tradings on Eurozone stocks. Marina Resta -- Managing uncertainty in complex projects. Giancarlo Nota and Rossella Aiello -- On the Concept of Endogenous Volatility. Orlando Gomes -- Chaotic Order – The Economic Relativity.
