The author pays particular attention to its functions and powers in dealing with Suspicious Activities Reports and relevant requirements imposed upon the reporting entities. In the analysis, the author also compares the United Arab Emirates FIU model to the United Kingdom FIU model. In addition, the book investigates whether the current United Arab Emirates FIU model complies with the relevant international recommendations developed by the Financial Action Task Force in relation to the establishment of the unit, as well as its powers and functions. This book suggests that more can be done to improve the current functions and powers of the United Arab Emirates FIU in an international context. Furthermore, the author suggests that the functions and powers of the United FIU model both comply with the international requirements and beneficially extend beyond their directives. Título : Behavioral Decision Theory : Psychological and Mathematical Descriptions of Human Choice Behavior Tipo de documento: documento electrónico Autores: Takemura, Kazuhisa ; SpringerLink (Online service) Editorial: Tokyo : Springer Japan Fecha de publicación: 2014 Otro editor: Imprint: Springer Número de páginas: XV, 207 p. 44 illus., 11 illus. in color Il.: online resource ISBN/ISSN/DL: 978-4-431-54580-4 Idioma : Inglés (eng) Palabras clave: Business Operations research Decision making Behavioral economics Sociology and Management Operation Research/Decision Theory Behavioral/Experimental Economics Sociological Clasificación: 658 Empresas. Organización de empresas Resumen: This book provides an overview of behavioral decision theory and related research findings. In brief, behavioral decision theory is a general term for descriptive theories to explain the psychological knowledge related to decision-making behavior. It is called a theory, but actually it is a combination of various psychological theories, for which axiomatic systems, such as the utility theory widely used in economics, have not been established; it is often limited to qualitative knowledge. However, as suggested in the studies of H. A. Simon, who won the Nobel Prize for Economics in 1978, and D. Kahneman, who won the prize in 2002, the psychological methodology and knowledge of behavioral decision theory have been applied widely in such fields as economics, business administration, and engineering, and are expected to become more useful in the future. This book explains various behavioral decision theories related to decision-making processes. Numerous models have been proposed to explain the psychological processes related to such a selection of decision strategies, and this book also introduces some new models that are useful to explain decision-making processes. The book concludes with speculation about the future of modern behavioral decision theories while referring to their relation to fields associated with neuroscience, such as neuroeconomics, that have been developed in recent years. In addition, each chapter includes a bibliography that can be referred to when studying more details related to behavioral decision theory. Reading this book requires no advanced expertise; nonetheless, an introductory knowledge of psychology, business administration, and economics, and approximately a high school graduate’s level of mathematics should facilitate the reader’s comprehension of the content En línea: http://dx.doi.org/10.1007/978-4-431-54580-4 Link: https://biblioteca.cunef.edu/gestion/catalogo/index.php?lvl=notice_display&id=36309 Behavioral Decision Theory : Psychological and Mathematical Descriptions of Human Choice Behavior [documento electrónico] / Takemura, Kazuhisa ; SpringerLink (Online service) . - Tokyo : Springer Japan : Imprint: Springer, 2014 . - XV, 207 p. 44 illus., 11 illus. in color : online resource.

Título : Knowledge Synthesis : Western and Eastern Cultural Perspectives Tipo de documento: documento electrónico Autores: Nakamori, Yoshiteru ; SpringerLink (Online service) Editorial: Tokyo : Springer Japan Fecha de publicación: 2016 Otro editor: Imprint: Springer Colección: Translational Systems Sciences, ISSN 2197-8832 num. 5 Número de páginas: IX, 210 p. 73 illus., 1 illus. in color Il.: online resource ISBN/ISSN/DL: 978-4-431-55218-5 Idioma : Inglés (eng) Palabras clave: Social policy Sociology Economics Policy Knowledge - Discourse Sociological Theory Clasificación: 330 Economía en general Resumen: This book provides readers the idea of systemically synthesizing various kind of knowledge, which needs to combine analytical thinking and synthetic thinking. Systems science is expected to help in solving contemporary complex problems, utilizing interdisciplinary knowledge effectively and combining analytical thinking and synthetic thinking efficiently. However, traditional systems science has been divided into two schools: one seeks a systematic procedure to give a correct objective answer; the other develops an emergent, systemic process so that the user can continue exploratory learning. It is not an exaggeration to say that analytical thinking and synthetic thinking have been developed independently, in different schools. This book integrates approaches developed in these two schools, using ideas in knowledge science that have been emerging recently under the influence of Eastern thinking. It emphasizes the importance of utilizing intuition in systems approaches, whereas other books usually try to solve problems rationally and objectively, rejecting subjectivity. This book never denies rationality and objectivity; however, complex problems of today do not always yield to complete analysis. The novelty of this present volume is that it takes in the ideas of synthetic thinking in knowledge science to develop systems science further. The chapter contributors, who are experienced systems scientists with a profound understanding of knowledge management, discuss knowledge synthesis from the Western and Eastern cultural perspectives. The book introduces a theory on systemic knowledge synthesis in an odd chapter and then presents an application of the theory in the next chapter in order to contribute to developing translational systems science Nota de contenido: Chapter 1 Systemic Synthesis and Metaphysics: Eastern versus Western Thinking -- Chapter 2 Multiple Criteria Ranking in Future Network Management -- Chapter 3 Evolutionary Knowledge Creation from an Eastern Perspective -- Chapter 4 Data Mining of Telecommunications Data as an Example of Systemic Synthesis -- Chapter 5 The Meta-Synthesis System Approach -- Chapter 6 Problem Structuring Process by Qualitative Meta-Synthesis Technologies -- Chapter 7 Knowledge Systems Engineering: A Complex System View -- Chapter 8 A Practical Case of Knowledge-Based Archive Management System -- Chapter 9 Systemic Knowledge Synthesis and Justification -- Chapter 10 Community Service Systems Development En línea: http://dx.doi.org/10.1007/978-4-431-55218-5 Link: https://biblioteca.cunef.edu/gestion/catalogo/index.php?lvl=notice_display&id=41803 Knowledge Synthesis : Western and Eastern Cultural Perspectives [documento electrónico] / Nakamori, Yoshiteru ; SpringerLink (Online service) . - Tokyo : Springer Japan : Imprint: Springer, 2016 . - IX, 210 p. 73 illus., 1 illus. in color : online resource. - (Translational Systems Sciences, ISSN 2197-8832; 5) .

Accounting for transnational demand, research is focused on the US consumers demand for the English Premier League, Spanish La Liga, Italian Serie A, German Bundesliga, French Ligue 1 and the UEFA Champions League, which represent the most popular and marketable football competitions worldwide, and have recently sealed lucrative media rights contracts in many large markets, including the US. The study also takes account of North American Major League Soccer (MLS) in order to provide a more comprehensive overview of the country's football market and to allow for direct comparisons with the aforementioned European competitions. These findings offer valuable insights for US broadcasters, European league organizers and managers to adjust existing strategies and/or develop new strategies in conquering the US football market. Georgios Nalbantis is Research Assistant in the Department for Sport Economics, Sport Management and Media Research, at the University of Tübingen, Germany. His research interests include the economics of league competitions as well as the econometric analysis of sports demand and regulations of sport systems. He was supported by the João Havelange Research Scholarship of FIFA / CIES and has co-authored papers that have appeared in Applied Economics and Journal of Sports Economics. Tim Pawlowski is Professor for Sport Economics (Chair in Sport Economics, Sport Management and Media Research) at the University of Tübingen, Germany. His research is focused on the economics of league competitions and the econometric analysis of sports demand, as well as the financing of sport systems; and was supported with research grants from the German Research Foundation (DFG), UEFA and FIFA.
