Commercializing technology has never been easy, and it's getting tougher all the time. All the decisions you need to make are complicated by today's breakneck rates of change in enabling technology and by competitive pressures disseminated globally at the speed of the internet: Where to get ideas? Which to pursue? Whom to hire? Where to manufacture? How to fund? Create a startup or license to another? To answer these questions adequately and bring sophisticated products and services successfully to market, you need to deploy the systematic methods detailed in this book. Jerry Schaufeld--serial technology entrepreneur, angel investor, and distinguished professor of entrepreneurship--presents in detail his proven step-by-step commercialization process, beginning with technology assessment and culminating with the successful launch of viable products into the global market. Using case studies, models, and practical tips culled from his entrepreneurial career, he shows readers of Commercializing Innovation how to Source technology that can be turned into pro ducts Recognize an opportunity to create a viable product Perform feasibility analyses before sinking too much money into a project Find the right method and means to introduce the product to market Plan the project down to the last detail Execute the project in ways that improve chances of its success Comply with government regulation without crippling your project Decide whether offshore manufacturing is your best option Compete globally with globally sourced ideas and funding En línea: http://dx.doi.org/10.1007/978-1-4302-6353-1 Link: https://biblioteca.cunef.edu/gestion/catalogo/index.php?lvl=notice_display&id=35364 Commercializing Innovation : Turning Technology Breakthroughs into Products [documento electrónico] / Schaufeld, Jerry ; SpringerLink (Online service) . - Berkeley ; New York : Apress, 2015 . - XIII, 190 p. 41 illus : online resource.

Título : Dynamic Governance of Energy Technology Change : Socio-technical transitions towards sustainability Tipo de documento: documento electrónico Autores: SpringerLink (Online service) ; Silvia Ulli-Beer Editorial: Berlin, Heidelberg : Springer Berlin Heidelberg Fecha de publicación: 2013 Otro editor: Imprint: Springer Colección: Sustainability and Innovation, ISSN 1860-1030 Número de páginas: XVII, 252 p. 60 illus., 12 illus. in color Il.: online resource ISBN/ISSN/DL: 978-3-642-39753-0 Idioma : Inglés (eng) Palabras clave: Energy policy and state Sustainable development Economic Social sciences Economics R & D/Technology Policy Policy, Management Development Methodology of the Sciences Clasificación: 658 Empresas. Organización de empresas Resumen: Formulating effective responses to the global challenges of mitigating climate change and securing a sustainable energy future requires a clear understanding of the interdependent causalities between institutions, local decision making, strategic alliances and eco-innovations, as well as policies. It has been acknowledged that the linear “Manhattan project” model is not an adequate governance model for mastering the dynamic complexity of socio-technical transitions; therefore this book aims at advancing research on systematic transition management models. It offers qualitative and quantitative analyses of socio-technical transitions in road transportation and housing, bringing together tailored theorizing on sustainability transitions and applied system dynamics modeling. It highlights the interconnected causal feedbacks that are required to overcome the lock-in situation in road transportation and housing fueled by fossil energies. Showing which concerted actions and framework conditions are required in the transition phases in order to initiate and sustain socio-technical transition, it serves as a guide to model-based strategy making, policy design and analyses in support of sustainable futures Nota de contenido: Preface -- Introduction -- Part I: Theory and Methods -- Part II: Fields of Analysis: Clean Personal Road Transportation and Energy- Efficient Housing -- Part III: Research and Policy Implications: Mastering the Challenges of Socio-Technical Transitions in Theory and Practice En línea: http://dx.doi.org/10.1007/978-3-642-39753-0 Link: https://biblioteca.cunef.edu/gestion/catalogo/index.php?lvl=notice_display&id=36620 Dynamic Governance of Energy Technology Change : Socio-technical transitions towards sustainability [documento electrónico] / SpringerLink (Online service) ; Silvia Ulli-Beer . - Berlin, Heidelberg : Springer Berlin Heidelberg : Imprint: Springer, 2013 . - XVII, 252 p. 60 illus., 12 illus. in color : online resource. - (Sustainability and Innovation, ISSN 1860-1030) .
