Organización de empresas Resumen: This book focuses on the use of farm level, micro- and macro-data of cooperative systems and networks in developing new robust, reliable and coherent modeling tools for agricultural and environmental policy analysis. The efficacy of public intervention on agriculture is largely determined by the existence of reliable information on the effects of policy options and market developments on farmers' production decisions, and in particular, on key issues such as levels of agricultural and non-agricultural output, land use and incomes, use of natural resources, sustainable-centric management, structural change and the viability of family farms. Over the last years, several methods and analytical tools have been developed for policy analysis using various sets of data. Such methods have been based on integrated approaches in an effort to investigate the above key issues, and have thus attempted to offer a powerful environment for decision making, particularly in an era of radical change for both agriculture and the wider economy Nota de contenido: Part I: Risk Management and Pricing Issues in Agricultural Policy Analysis -- Part II: Estimating Income and Performance Levels -- Part III: Surveying and Experimental Designs in Agricultural Policy Analysis -- Part IV: The Influence of Climate Change and Constraints -- Part V: Regulatory Changes and Management of Emissions -- Part VI: Assessing Differences in Policy Implementation Across Countries and Sectors -- Part VII: Greening Criteria for Agricultural and Rural Policy Management En línea: http://dx.doi.org/10.1007/978-3-319-06635-6 Link: https://biblioteca.cunef.edu/gestion/catalogo/index.php?lvl=notice_display&id=36073 Agricultural Cooperative Management and Policy : New Robust, Reliable and Coherent Modelling Tools [documento electrónico] / SpringerLink (Online service) ; Constantin Zopounidis ; Nikos Kalogeras ; Konstadinos Mattas ; Gert van Dijk ; George Baourakis . - Cham : Springer International Publishing : Imprint: Springer, 2014 . - XIV, 422 p. 98 illus : online resource. - (Cooperative Management, ISSN 2364-401X) .

Título : India’s Agricultural Marketing : Market Reforms and Emergence of New Channels Tipo de documento: documento electrónico Autores: Nilabja Ghosh ; SpringerLink (Online service) Editorial: New Delhi : Springer India Fecha de publicación: 2013 Otro editor: Imprint: Springer Colección: India Studies in Business and Economics, ISSN 2198-0012 Número de páginas: XV, 311 p. 13 illus Il.: online resource ISBN/ISSN/DL: 978-81-322-1572-1 Idioma : Inglés (eng) Palabras clave: Marketing Agriculture Agricultural economics Economics Clasificación: 658 Empresas. Organización de empresas Resumen: The proposed book provides an assessment of an important yet controversial policy initiated by the Indian government and governments of several other developing countries. Marketing reforms, it is claimed, can be a crucial answer to solving the problem of rural poverty in agrarian economies where large sections of populace are engaged in low paying agriculture. On a wider front, these reforms could help in providing growth impetus to an economy and even the global economy at large. Yet, the subject of liberalizing agricultural markets is also part of a broad and perhaps a bitter political debate between national and sub-national policy makers and academic discourses in India and other countries. A clearer understanding and a possible resolution of the issues involved will be decidedly useful. The experience of India, one of the largest and most agriculture-dominated economies, will undoubtedly provide valuable lessons not only for steering the domestic economic policy but also for other countries to set their own policy agenda. The book attempts to capture the evolving reality in a large and diverse country and presents an objective evaluation to enable aspiring investors and those in policy making, food business and civil society to make more informed assessment and decision Nota de contenido: Chapter 1 : Introduction -- Chapter 2: Evolution and re-constitution of Markets -- Chapter 3: International perspectives and Lessons for India -- Chapter 4: Objectives, Data and Methodology -- Chapter 5: India’s Agricultural Markets: Regulation and revitalization -- Chapter 6: Contemporary reforms and the Transitions in Sample states -- Chapter 7 : Socio-economic conditions and Agriculture in Sample States -- Chapter 8: Selling to Corporate Marketing Intermediaries -- Chapter 9: Selling to Processors on Contract -- Chapter 10: Selling to Organized Retailers -- Chapter 11: Direct Marketing by Farmers -- Chapter 12: Contracts with Local traders in West Bengal -- Chapter 13: Local Marketing support in Bihar -- Chapter 14: Impact and Policy implications of the Transitions -- Chapter 15: Reconsidering Agricultural marketing in India -- Appendices En línea: http://dx.doi.org/10.1007/978-81-322-1572-1 Link: https://biblioteca.cunef.edu/gestion/catalogo/index.php?lvl=notice_display&id=36729 India’s Agricultural Marketing : Market Reforms and Emergence of New Channels [documento electrónico] / Nilabja Ghosh ; SpringerLink (Online service) . - New Delhi : Springer India : Imprint: Springer, 2013 . - XV, 311 p. 13 illus : online resource. - (India Studies in Business and Economics, ISSN 2198-0012) .
