Organización de empresas Resumen: Technological innovation is fundamental to firm performance and economic prosperity. The aim of this book is to contribute to an in-depth understanding of collective innovation processes by analyzing publicly funded R&D cooperation and innovation networks in the German laser industry. Standing in a neo-Schumpeterian tradition, it employs interdisciplinary analytical concepts and draws upon a unique longitudinal dataset from the laser industry that covers more than two decades of observations. In brief, the book makes a valuable contribution by exploring how and why firm-specific R&D cooperation activities and network positions, large-scale network patterns, and evolutionary network change processes affect the innovative performance of laser source manufacturers in Germany Nota de contenido: Introduction and Theoretical Background: Introduction -- Theoretical Background -- Industry, Data and Methods: Laser Technology and the German Laser Industry -- Methodological Reflections and Data Sources -- Quantitative Concepts and Measures -- Dataset Design and Estimation Methods -- Descriptive Analysis: Industry Dynamics and Geographical Concentration -- Evolution of the Industry's Innovation Network -- Econometric Analysis: Causes and Consequences of Network Evolution -- Ego Networks and Firm Innovativeness -- Small World Patterns and Firm Innovativeness -- Network Positioning, Co-Location or Both? -- Summary, Conclusion and Outlook: Findings and Limitations -- Further Research and Conclusions En línea: http://dx.doi.org/10.1007/978-3-319-07935-6 Link: https://biblioteca.cunef.edu/gestion/catalogo/index.php?lvl=notice_display&id=35428 Innovation Networks in the German Laser Industry : Evolutionary Change, Strategic Positioning, and Firm Innovativeness [documento electrónico] / Kudic, Muhamed ; SpringerLink (Online service) . - Cham : Springer International Publishing : Imprint: Springer, 2015 . - XX, 363 p. 43 illus : online resource. - (Economic Complexity and Evolution, ISSN 2199-3173) .

Título : The Evolution of Economic and Innovation Systems Tipo de documento: documento electrónico Autores: SpringerLink (Online service) ; Pyka, Andreas ; Foster, John Editorial: Cham : Springer International Publishing Fecha de publicación: 2015 Otro editor: Imprint: Springer Colección: Economic Complexity and Evolution, ISSN 2199-3173 Número de páginas: VII, 641 p. 102 illus., 63 illus. in color Il.: online resource ISBN/ISSN/DL: 978-3-319-13299-0 Idioma : Inglés (eng) Palabras clave: Entrepreneurship Management Industrial management Evolutionary economics organization Economic growth Economics Growth Institutional/Evolutionary Innovation/Technology Organization Clasificación: 658 Empresas. Organización de empresas Resumen: This book is at the cutting edge of the ongoing ‘neo-Schumpeterian’ research program that investigates how economic growth and its fluctuation can be understood as the outcome of a historical process of economic evolution. Much of modern evolutionary economics has relied upon biological analogy, especially about natural selection. Although this is valid and useful, evolutionary economists have, increasingly, begun to build their analytical representations of economic evolution on understandings derived from complex systems science. In this book, the fact that economic systems are, necessarily, complex adaptive systems is explored, both theoretically and empirically, in a range of contexts. Throughout, there is a primary focus upon the interconnected processes of innovation and entrepreneurship, which are the ultimate sources of all economic growth. Twenty two chapters are provided by renowned experts in the related fields of evolutionary economics and the economics of innovation Nota de contenido: The Evolution of Economic Systems -- The Evolution of Innovation Systems -- Entrepreneurship and Innovation Competition En línea: http://dx.doi.org/10.1007/978-3-319-13299-0 Link: https://biblioteca.cunef.edu/gestion/catalogo/index.php?lvl=notice_display&id=35546 The Evolution of Economic and Innovation Systems [documento electrónico] / SpringerLink (Online service) ; Pyka, Andreas ; Foster, John . - Cham : Springer International Publishing : Imprint: Springer, 2015 . - VII, 641 p. 102 illus., 63 illus. in color : online resource. - (Economic Complexity and Evolution, ISSN 2199-3173) .

Título : The Two Sides of Innovation : Creation and Destruction in the Evolution of Capitalist Economies Tipo de documento: documento electrónico Autores: SpringerLink (Online service) ; Buenstorf, Guido ; Cantner, Uwe ; Hanusch, Horst ; Hutter, Michael ; Lorenz, Hans-Walter ; Rahmeyer, Fritz Editorial: Cham : Springer International Publishing Fecha de publicación: 2013 Otro editor: Imprint: Springer Colección: Economic Complexity and Evolution, ISSN 2199-3173 Número de páginas: VI, 309 p. 4 illus Il.: online resource ISBN/ISSN/DL: 978-3-319-01496-8 Idioma : Inglés (eng) Palabras clave: Management Industrial management Evolutionary economics organization Economic policy growth Regional Spatial Economics Growth Institutional/Evolutionary R & D/Technology Policy Innovation/Technology Organization Regional/Spatial Science Clasificación: 658 Empresas. Organización de empresas Resumen: This volume is devoted to innovation with a special focus on its two sides, namely creation and destruction, and on its role in the evolution of capitalist economies. The first part of the book looks at innovation and its effects on economic performance, addressing issues of motives, behavioral rules under uncertainty, actor properties, and technology characteristics. The second part concentrates on potential consequences of innovative activities, in particular structural change, the “innovation-mediated” effect of skill-oriented policies on regional performance, the destructive effects of innovation activities, and the question whether novelty is always good. The role of innovation in the evolution of capitalism itself is discussed in the third part Nota de contenido: Innovation: Conditions to Successfully Create Novelty for Economic Development -- Innovation: Induced Structural Change, Coping and Normative Assessment -- Innovation and the Evolution of Capitalism En línea: http://dx.doi.org/10.1007/978-3-319-01496-8 Link: https://biblioteca.cunef.edu/gestion/catalogo/index.php?lvl=notice_display&id=36468 The Two Sides of Innovation : Creation and Destruction in the Evolution of Capitalist Economies [documento electrónico] / SpringerLink (Online service) ; Buenstorf, Guido ; Cantner, Uwe ; Hanusch, Horst ; Hutter, Michael ; Lorenz, Hans-Walter ; Rahmeyer, Fritz . - Cham : Springer International Publishing : Imprint: Springer, 2013 . - VI, 309 p. 4 illus : online resource. - (Economic Complexity and Evolution, ISSN 2199-3173) .
