The objective of this final degree project is to analyse the determinants of acquisition premiums in M&A transactions. In particular, we want to test whether the acquisition premium is affected by the industry where target and acquirer operate, the payment method of the deal, the nature of the bid, the deal size, the size of the acquirer, its leverage and its free cash flow. |
