What does this Service offer?
The purpose of the Information and Reference Service is to address all requests for information about the Library and its collections, resources and services, and answer bibliographic queries of any kind.

We will reply to all the information requests that we receive, provided that they fall within the scope of the Service; if not, we may refer users to another source or service, as appropriate.
Legal or medical queries, as well as any that go beyond the scope of the Service, will not be answered.
This Service will not carry out procedures such as resource renewal or reservation, or other administrative procedures.
All the members of the Library team provide this service, both virtually and in person on the ground floor of the Library.
Replies may not always be immediate, given that we receive both face-to-face and virtual information requests, but our goal is to offer a fast, efficient and equitable service to all our users.
Using the Information Request Form available below. Please fill out all the details, including your name and surname, remembering to include the email address where you wish to receive the reply.
The form is available 24/7, but replies will only be issued during the opening hours of the Library.
More extensive and comprehensive requests requiring subsequent follow-up will be handled by email, or in a face-to-face or telephone session.
Always considering the above, the Library undertakes to reply within a maximum of two working days after receiving the request.
This Service is available to all CUNEF Library users (students, faculty, researchers, administrative and service staff, and alumni).
Access to certain resources such as electronic journals or databases is restricted to the members of CUNEF university community.
Possible queries from external users or institutions will be assessed, always giving preference to requests from the members of CUNEF university community.
All information requests will be kept confidential; nonetheless, the Library advises users to refrain from including personal information (ID, passwords, etc.) in the form.
Users agree to respect copyright and other applicable legal restrictions.
Request transcripts may be saved for analysis and evaluation, with a view to providing a better service. All personal information or data will be deleted from these transcripts for anonymous storage.
In some cases, excerpts may be used to illustrate reports, always deleting any personal details.
Statistics on all aspects of the Service will be generated periodically for ongoing assessment and improvement.
Such information will only be accessed by authorised personnel in charge of the Information and Reference Service and will not be used for any other purpose than those specified above.
